This is a full-time, exempt level position.

Position Summary:

The Corporate FP&A Manager, will play a critical role in ADM’s Corporate function reporting, consolidation, and planning and forecasting processes. This role will support the coordination of the monthly forecast and reporting process with the business unit and Corporate FP&A teams.

This role also provides insightful analysis and decision support by delivering timely, accurate and relevant data and information to a variety of Executive Leadership stakeholders to help drive performance across the organization. This role partners with various stakeholders such as Corporate Finance, Corporate function leadership and teams, Business Unit Finance, GBS Finance and the Strategic Transformation Office. This position reports to the Director, Corporate Finance.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities span but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversight of preparation and consolidation of ADM’s monthly forecast, key performance measures, and performance reporting to ADM’s Executive Committee and other finance executives.

  • Participate and demonstrate leadership in cross-functional efforts within Finance to continually improve reporting, forecasting, planning, and analysis processes.

  • Develop and present financial plans, projections, and ad hoc analysis requests to senior management.

  • Collaborate with certain Corporate Function Leaders on financial planning, forecasting and reporting, including insights and opportunities for improvement.

  • Ability to influence others within a matrix environment including senior management.

  • Ability to lead, monitor, and manage several existing projects with tight deadlines using project management skills and techniques.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA recommended

  • 5+ years of accounting or finance experience

  • Advanced degree in analytics, data modeling and statistics

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Advanced Financial Analysis

  • Advanced knowledge of Management Reporting

  • Advanced knowledge of budgeting, long range planning and forecasting

  • Experience executing financial planning, forecasting and analysis processes.

  • Visualization and communication skills (to a wide range of audiences both technical and non-technical).

  • Experience gathering requirements and procedures related to process design.

  • Project management experience managing multiple projects at one time.

Desired Experience:

  • Prior experience within ADM or in the industry is highly desired, as understanding ADM’s complex business model will be an accelerator in the learning process.

  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Planning or other planning tools (e.g. Anaplan, Onestream, etc), ESSBASE and large ERP systems (e.g. JDE, SAP, etc)

  • Familiarity with the capabilities of reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, OBIEE, PowerBI, etc.

  • Prior supervisory experience

  • Designing Queries and Reports using Financial Systems (Oracle/HSF) and MS Office Suite

Core Competencies:
