Registered Nurse-Behavioral Health (BHOP) ID 2024-22412 Category Hidden (17466) Facility DOD / MTF - Ohio - Wright Patterson Air Force Base Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an Exciting Potential Opportunity for a Registered Nurse-Behavioral Health (BHOP) supporting Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. Job Requirements: Degree/Education: HCW must have graduated from an Associate's Degree (ADN) or a Baccalaureate Degree (BSN) program in nursing accredited by a national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education. BSN is highly desired. Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS through American Heart Association Experience: 3 years of experience with levels of care to include post hospital and acute care illness stabilization. At least 36 months of nursing experience in ambulatory or inpatient clinical setting. Must have experience providing services such as psychiatric nursing or behavioral health and wellness for 24 consecutive months of direct patient specialty care experience. Duties: Not limited to; Will work predominately in an outpatient primary care clinic (Family Health and/or Internal Medicine Clinic). Provide mental health clinical case management, care coordination and disease management for patients prescribed psychotropic medications by their Primary Care Manager within the primary care environment. This includes but is not limited to the conditions of depression and anxiety disorders, including PTSD. Monitor and facilitate adherence to treatments, provides education, coordinates care, maintains data registries, and performs full scope of clinical nursing in the execution of primary care behavioral services. Coordinate patient care through a continuum of care and the levels of care to achieve optimal health outcomes in relation to care, quality and cost effectiveness. Assess, coordinate, facilitate, and deliver care for adult patients relevant to the practice environment and procedures performed. Provide patient and family education according to credentialed provider's instruction and documents patient and family understanding. Orient, train and mentor new personnel and delegates appropriate tasks promoting development of new skills, knowledge, abilities, and empowered professionals. Evaluate and care for patients utilizing the nursing process as a basis for professional practice. Demonstrate proper patient preparation for examination and treatment. Perform dosage calculations as required to accurately administer ordered pharmacologic agents. Assess patient's compliance, barriers to compliance and develops a nursing plan of care accordingly.
