The Resident/Fellowship Program Manager will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the programs including but not limited to daily operations, performing moderately complex administrative level duties including drafting correspondence, using program specific software, and working with highly confidential information under minimal supervision. The manager will assist the program directors, associate program directors, chief residents, residents/fellows, medical education personnel & other faculty with the coordination of the residents/fellows’ education, evaluations & scheduling for the programs. The program manager will ensure the program meets the requirements regarding Dayton Children’s Hospital compliance, ACGME, local GME and other institutional and regulatory administrative offices, will assist with all aspects of but not limited to interviewing, onboarding, orientation, and graduation of the residents/fellows.

The Manager provides oversight to the Medical Education/Residency/Fellowship Office and primary administrative support to the Pediatric Residency/Fellowship Programs, Program Director/Director of Medical Education. Oversees medical education personnel including Rotating Resident Coordinator, Residency Coordinator, Continuing Medical Education Coordinator, and Fellowship Coordinator, and provides support and guidance for the WSUBSOM Medical Student Administrator and the Military Student/Residency Administrator. Works closely Wright Patterson Air Base Residency/Student coordinator in all aspect of the program for the military residents.

Job Description

Education

Associated degree from an accredited program required; Bachelors preferred

Experience

5+ years experience required.

GME Experience, Customer Service Skills, Microsoft outlook, Word / Excel / Powerpoint required

Resident Management Suite Software, ERAS, Thalamus, ACGME, NRMP experience required
