The successful candidate will serve as the customer's Acquisition Logistics Support SME responsible for Air Force systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, as well as post contract award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles. Responsibilities The candidate shall have the necessary knowledge and experience to independently support the program office executing the following tasks: * Address the Product Support Elements through which supportability and logistic support considerations are integrated into the design of a system or equipment and considered throughout its life cycle. It is the process by which all elements of logistic support are planned, acquired, tested, and provided in a timely and cost-effective manner. * Perform as key participants in developing long term weapon system supportability approaches that further the Government's acquisition strategy goals and objectives. * Provide support to accomplish the generation and review of logistics support documentation that includes the following: Integrated Logistics Support Plans * (ILSP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), TOs, Technical Manuals, Electronic Technical Manuals, Illustrated Parts Breakdowns, and work specifications to ensure the documentation meets Government logistics support requirements. * Participate in integrated logistics support management team meetings, program management reviews, and other related meetings. * Assist in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support the breadth of acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts. The Contractor shall support the program office during Materiel Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation & Risk Reduction, Engineering & Manufacturing Development, Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support phases.
