• Assesses, plans and implements the nursing process.

• Provides classroom instruction appropriate and maintains accurate medical records.

• Promotes wellness and disease prevention by early detection and correction of health problems that may interfere with learning, growth, and development.

• Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image

• Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations

• Foster a caring environment that respects patient's dignity

• Maintain a high quality of nursing care for students with psychiatric and mental health illnesses

• Deliver and evaluate all care provided

• Take the lead role in case of a medical or psychiatric emergency and therapeutically intervene and de-escalate students as needed

• Contribute to a friendly and fun environment

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE:

• Graduate of a nationally approved Nursing program is required.

• Maintain current BLS/CPR certification from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC)

• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing

• Prior school experience preferred

• 1+ years experience as an LPN required
