Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee operations in a demanding coal production terminal environment. This role requires someone with a robust understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial processing machinery, and electrical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) policies and procedures, maintaining an orderly and safe work area, and promptly reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions. Responsibilities also include managing changes effectively, maintaining high performance and quality standards, and handling both day and night shifts in a rotating schedule.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with PLC

  • Experience with 480v and 4160v

  • Knowledge of Instrumentation, Ladder Logic, MCC’s and Electrical systems

  • Troubleshooting

  • Programming

  • Commissioning experience

Soft Skills

  • Comprehension – ability to listen to directions and follow instructions

  • Quality/Customer Focus – commitment to excellence in quality

  • Interpersonal/Communications Skills – effective verbal and written communication

  • Performance Management – ability to establish goals and plans, work efficiently

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Davant, Louisiana.

Work Environment

The work environment involves a dirty coal environment with extensive exposure to coal and coal dust, and operation around mile+ long conveyors. The schedule includes a 7 days on, 7 days off rotation, transitioning between day and night shifts. Initial training involves a 5 days a week, 10 hours each day schedule.
