Position Summary:* *

Sovah Danville is seeking a PRN Radiology Tech CT that provides computed tomography imaging in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Performs a variety of technical CT examinations associated with the operation of CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of designated portions of the body. Observe all regulations concerning radiation protection of patients and staff.

• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. Drag Edit Delete

• When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice. Drag Edit Delete

• Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate. Drag Edit Delete

• Prepares equipment and supplies. Drag Edit Delete

• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Drag Edit Delete

• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Drag Edit Delete

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Drag Edit Delete

• Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Drag Edit Delete

• Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning the patient and repeating the procedure. Drag Edit Delete

• Enters, transmits and reports scan results.
