Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Director of Population Health, the Health Screening RN is responsible for executing community health screening programs that further EMH’s Mission and Vision of measurable improving the health of the community. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical Effort

Will work in various environments where health screening services are provided, may involve evening and weekend work. Must be able to lift 10-15 lbs. independently. Interaction with clients essential and may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, disease and infection .

Minimum Qualifications or Equivalents

Education: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Experience: Previous two (2) years' experience with health promotion counseling and obtaining blood samples via finger stick preferred.

EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS: Will receive on-the-job training in use of screening equipment and counseling standards.

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations

Current RN License in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Maintains valid Driver’s License.
