Job Description
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Lead and manage the day to day operations of the Food & Beverage Division ensuring all service standards are followed
Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
Hands-on support all outlets and F&B operations
Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.
Drive innovative promotions, menus and concepts
Support all Food & Beverage departments in the achievement of their financial and operational targets
Assist with development, implementation and management of the department's business/marketing plan and budget
Ensure the implementation of standards in guest service and constantly seek out ways to improve product and service as well as increase volumes and profits
Respond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments and concerns to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects
Assist all departments with the recruitment, training and development of all employees within the division
Ensure compliance with all company programs; follow department policies, procedures and service standards
Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards and policies, while supervising regular audits
Drive innovative promotions, menus and concepts; creating a destination of choice for both Hotel and external guests
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred
3+ years of leadership experience in a related position
Luxury hotel experience preferred
Strong knowledge of operations
Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food and beverage industry
Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public, etc.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to train and develop leaders
Ability to budget and forecast
Extensive Food and Wine background
Excellent people skills
Ability to work with a diverse staff
Ability to coordinate special events
