Topgolf Director, Digital Performance & Analytics in Dallas, Texas

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with digital channel managers to provide comprehensive reporting, tracking, and forecasting, contributing valuable insights for assessing program performance across channels, funnel conversion recommendations, and shaping future strategies.

  • Engage with business partners to pinpoint efficiencies and enhance the impact of our acquisition and retention channels, introducing innovative strategies, refining personalization and targeting, optimizing delivery processes, and incorporating new capabilities.

  • Spearhead the creation and development of existing member segments through comprehensive collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring targeted and personalized communication strategies that align with business objectives.

  • Drive digital growth through a thorough analysis of the competitive landscape, fine-tuning existing channel performance, and uncovering opportunities for operational efficiency enhancements.

  • Apply strategic thinking to identify and quantify emerging opportunities, assess their impact on players, and present new recommendations aimed at propelling business growth.

  • Drive the implementation of propensity and attribution modeling, leveraging analytical insights to identify, understand, and predict player behavior, ultimately optimizing marketing strategies for enhanced engagement and conversion.

  • Develop, implement, and oversee vital channel forecasting and budget management processes and procedures, ensuring efficient financial control.

Critical Skills & Experience Requirements

  • Knowledge, skills, abilities or other characteristics that are required in order to perform the Essential Functions (e.g. Advanced Statistics – expertise in manipulating large datasets and performing advanced statistical analyses, etc.).

  • Proven capability to make informed and data-driven decisions, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, insights and BI, fostering a collaborative environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders and understand their goals, aligning them with the overall performance marketing strategy.

  • Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner.

  • Proficient in delivering impactful presentations that focus on providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Willingness to engage in continuous learning, staying updated on the latest advancements in analytics and marketing technology.

  • Proactive problem-solving approach to address challenges and roadblocks.

  • Ability to quickly shift mindset and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s Degree Marketing, or related business field.

  • 6+ Years advanced data analytics knowledge and high proficiency with reporting/visualization tools, including Amazon Quicksight, Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics, Data Studio, and Excel.

  • 6+ Years deep knowledge of digital marketing across email, SMS, app, social, display, search and programmatic platforms.

  • 3+ years attribution and propensity modeling experience.

  • 3+ Years previous experience facilitating market research studies.

  • 3+ Years utilization of CRM and/or Customer Data platforms.

  • 3+ Years multi-location and/or multi-product portfolio management.
