UP TO $21/HR Our Veterans and many other clients need assistance so they are able to remain in the comfort of their homes as long as possible. We have numerous shifts available if you are interested in supplementing your full-time job or picking up hours while your kids are in school. We are looking for CNAs and Caregivers to serve clients in the McHenry County area including Barrington, Wauconda, Woodstock, McHenry, Crystal Lake and Algonquin. We strongly live our value of work-life balance by providing our employees with the following: * Weekly Pay with Direct Deposit * Employee Recognition & Employee Referral Programs * Shift premiums: we routinely offer overtime, holiday pay, and shift incentives * BrightStar Care of Barrington/McHenry County is Joint Commission Accredited Responsibilities * Provide care as directed by a nursing supervisor, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary * Provide care according to the patient’s plan of care, assist with daily tasks, including but not limited to: feeding, linen changes, light housekeeping Requirements * High school diploma or GED * Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray * Minimum one (1) year of documented health care experience is preferred * Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile preferred * Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
