Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices and expense reports for accuracy and appropriate approvals.

• Payment Processing: Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.

• Vendor Management: Maintain and update vendor files, ensure accurate documentation, and respond to vendor inquiries.

• Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions, including monthly statements and related transactions.

• Expense Reporting: Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.

• Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and accounts payable best practices.
