What you get to do every single day

• Note down and retain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

• In a proactive manner provide the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

• Team up with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

• Assert backup, security, and redundancy strategies

• Ensure 2nd and 3rd level support

• Oversee and review application performance for potential bottlenecks, define possible solutions, and join forces with developers to realize those fixes

• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools

• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems

• Conduct and keep an eye on all installed systems and infrastructure Requirements - Applicants who have solid networking knowledge are preferred

  • You'll be a good fit for this position if you have solid scripting skills

  • Applicants who have experience with monitoring systems are preferred

  • Experience with virtualization and containerization is required for success at this position

• Microsoft Azure experience required

• PowerShell experience

• Citrix experience desired

  • Applicants with solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks are preferred

  • This position requires a candidate with experience with automation software

  • It is preferred for applicants to have proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
