We are looking for a meticulous and hardworking Custodian/Floor Technician to join our team for a Veterans Affairs contract. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all occupants.

Job Summary: The Custodian/Floor Technician will perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the facility remains in top condition. This includes sanitizing patient and employee areas, maintaining floors, and ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities: Wipe down all exam tables, walls, and equipment with germicide. Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, and replenish soap dispensers. Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors, ensuring they are spot cleaned as needed. Clean bathrooms, walls, urinals, and all air fixtures, vents, and ceiling speaker grills. Scrub ceramic tile floors and clean grout in patient and employee showers. Spray buff resilient floors in corridors, entrances, and lobbies. Damp mop and spray buff hard and resilient floors in office spaces. Shampoo carpets in entrances and elevators. Maintain cleanliness of employee break rooms and microwaves.

Qualifications: Previous custodial or floor technician experience preferred. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment safety. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Must be reliable, punctual, and physically capable of performing tasks.
