Robert Half has a new and exciting opportunity for an entry level accountant to join a well-established and reputable organization in Colorado Springs! We're seeking a candidate for a role that blends administrative and accounting responsibilities. An ideal candidate should possess at least a 2-year degree in accounting, coupled with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience, and demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel. Understanding of fundamental accounting concepts such as debits, credits, balance sheets, and income statements is crucial. Daily tasks will revolve around coordinating with banks and title companies for closings, managing paperwork to meet closing deadlines, tracking construction permit schedules, posting transactions and journal entries, and providing support to other accounting functions as required. Requirements

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.

• Proficiency in performing Journal Entries.

• Experience in executing Bank Reconciliations.

• Ability to manage Balance Sheet Accounts effectively.

• Proficient in creating and interpreting Income Statements.

• Experience in handling Closing Documents.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
