Primary Duties for Norwich Warehouse Inbound Processing Associate:

  1. Handles all product returns to include re-boxing, returning to proper location after processing, returning to stock or returning to vendor.
  2. Pack product in the proper bag/box using tape machines, heat sealers and any other packaging equipment as needed.
  3. Verifies quantities, cartons, and description of product before packaging, using the computer system and current catalogs for best resources.
  4. Uses knowledge of product to recognize defects and damages.
  5. Cross trains in other areas of the company to transfer during peak times of the business.
  6. Perform general warehouse housekeeping of area as directed.
  7. Follow all departmental procedures and established policies for effective

operation of the processing area.

  1. Other duties or assignments as may be required by supervision or management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED certificate
  • Accurate measurement skills including knowledge of box/carton sizes
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Able to work on multiple projects and prioritize work
  • Must be able to perform lifting (up to 30lbs) on a regular basis, bending and twisting
  • Must be able to work standing or sitting for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Must be able to operate pallet jack and hand truck in accordance with all safety procedures

  • Thorough knowledge of company product
