Manual Machinist - Cleveland, Ohio - JOB 24-00088 Salary Range: $20.00 - $30.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits. Cleveland, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire a Manual Machinist REQUIREMENTS • High School Graduate (Trade School or post-secondary education is a plus) • Manual Machinist work experience preferred (entry level trained candidates will be considered) • Able to work 2nd shift (3:30pm - 12am) • Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring and conventional milling (e.g., horizontal and vertical mills and horizontal boring mills). • Perform lathe work, using large engine lathes with a maximum swing of 10'. • Perform various metalizing (metal spraying) techniques as needed. • Set up and perform tool-post grinding procedures and Babbitt bearing work. • Use various hand-held and stationary power and non-power tools, including but not limited to: band saws, belt sanders, hand grinder, files, etc. • Utilize lift trucks, overhead cranes and gantry cranes • Welding & brazing is a plus Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
