Description Job Summary: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager develops the strategy for execution of large and complex projects, and coordinates resources to meet operational objectives. The Senior Project Manager analyzes and leads the development and management of complex project schedules, leading project staff and/or managers to meet requirements on large and complex projects. With recognized expertise in the profession, the Senior Project Manager shares knowledge with colleagues, and offers mentorship and guidance to others. Join our True Blue team today! Essential Responsibilities: Leads and promotes Ledcor safety culture on site, ensuring site safety and environmental standards are met or exceeded, and focuses on opportunities for improvement. Leads large and complex multi-discipline estimates, including the design-build joint venture (DBJV) scope of P3 pursuits. Leads all aspects of risk management including client interface for complex jobs, including design-build projects. Leads multiple large and complex multi-discipline estimates including equity, commercial and O&M responsibilities. Contributes to the identification of project pursuits to be estimated. Leads overall design effort, manages design coordinators on design-build jobs, and oversees project control processes. Manages construction costs and budgets on complex projects. Oversees the creation and implementation of the Project Quality Plan (PQP). Leads Quality Assurance Program (QAP) when applicable (design-build projects) and manages the QA interface on P3 projects. Leads all aspects of subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiations for complex projects and design-build projects. Negotiates major contracts and change orders. Leads set up of large and complex project systems and procedures, including chart of accounts, cost accounting system, and project directory. Leads management of pursuit costs, including third party costs for engineers. Qualifications: 8 plus years of related construction experience as a project manager, or in a similar direct managerial / supervisory role College, trade or technical diploma in Construction, Engineering or related discipline required (preferred Bachelor's degree) Experience with direct management or supervision Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, current construction practices and methodology; solid understanding of construction costs and budgets Demonstrated contract negotiation and management skills, with an in-depth understanding of contract documents Proven ability to build successful teams and promote teamwork through motivating, coaching and consensus-building Additional Information: Company Description Ledcor Technical Services (LTS) designs, builds, and maintains wireline or wireless networks that span North America and beyond.
