Insight Global ServiceNow Asset Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio

Job Description

A financial company in the Cincinnati, OH area is looking for a mid-level ServiceNow Asset Manager for a 6-month contract opportunity with a likelihood for extensions into next year. This position can sit remotely but MUST work EST hours and there is a preference for candidates local to Cincinnati that are able to come onsite 3x/week.

This individual will be joining the ServiceNow Asset Management team to support them during the migration into ServiceNow and will be primarily concentrated on the end-of-life asset management. The most immediate & important responsibility of this individual will be to manage and maintain the current legacy asset management system/ processes and keep it afloat during the migration. This includes advanced-level Excel experience to sort through, clean, manage, and track the end-of-life assets in the workbook; pulling reports out for the going out of date assets; helping to move the data over into the new systems.

Other responsibilities

* Contribute to the IT Asset Management project which entails developing the hardware and software asset management processes across the technology environment using ServiceNow

* Help with the Organizational Change Management -- educating and training users on new practices

* Maintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements

* Become familiar with the existing asset landscape and assist with managing and tracking hardware and software assets, reviewing license and maintenance agreements and accurately interpreting license use and deployment rights.

* Implement and maintain new features and capabilities while continuously improving the quality of our technical products and services

* Provide operational support and troubleshooting for your team's products and services

Skills and Requirements

* Min 3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management

* ServiceNow Application or Technology Portfolio Management (APM/TPM) (SAM Content Service and Technopedia +)

* Advanced Excel -- working with multiple complex data sets doing indexing, Vlookup, embedded pivot tables, etc. (macros and VBS scripting++)

* end-to-end asset management process for hardware and software -- emphasis on end-of-life

* Organizational Change Management (educating and training users on new practices for 400 apps)

SOFT SKILLS:

* Must be able to conduct meetings with stakeholders on asset management processes

* Strong problem-solving

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Willingness to work in a highly collaborative environment

* Familiarity with common IT security best practice * Banking or finance industry background

* ServiceNow ITAM Administration and/or Development

* ServiceNow modules -- Application Portfolio Management (APM), Model Management, and Tech Portfolio Management

* Planview (specifically migrating from Planview)

* SAFe Agile

* Experience dealing with complex vendors (IBM, Oracle, Adobe, Salesforce, Microsoft, etc.)

* Bachelor's degree null
