Boyd Gaming REVENUE AUDITOR in Cincinnati, Ohio

What would I be doing?

As a Revenue Audit Clerkyou will be responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. You are also responsible for the daily audit of cage, racing, electronicgames and non-gaming revenue areas.

Responsibilities

Provides superior customer service, positively effects interactions with external and internal customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers.

Performs daily audit of cage, racing, electronic gaming and non-gaming revenue areas.

Investigates and reports discrepancies determined through audit process to supervisor.

Prepares information and reports for the Revenue Audit Supervisor in a manner to ensure compliance with Gaming Commission Rules and Company policies and procedures.

Maintains accurate records and files pertaining to daily audits of areas of responsibility.

Anticipates ongoing changes, problems, and opportunities in order to maintain effective systems and procedures.

Performs related duties and responsibilities as required.

What are we looking for?

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of high school. Some college preferred in the area of accounting. Two years’ experience in a related field required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

Ability to maintain all Regulatory licenses within assigned state of employment

Must successfully pass background check

Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

Knowledge of:

  • Knowledge of audit functions.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and 10-key calculator.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills necessary.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Ability to:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, as well as outside contacts.

  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

  • Must possess basic math skills.

  • Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
