Registered Nurse (RN), Full-time, Nights (7p-7a), Clinical Decision Unit

UC Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Clinical Decision Unit for the night shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

The Clinical Decision Unit Nurse will carry out observation care to support the Medical Center’s emergency room and Level I Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures. The CDU Nurse will serve patients from every specialty who do not meet inpatient criteria for admission.

• The CDU is a team focused unit that strives to create a friendly and supportive environment.

• Nurses in the CDU will have the ability to cross-train with the Emergency Department.

• The unit provides opportunities to gain additional education and certifications, including ACLS, NRP, CCNRP, PALS, and NIHSS.
