The Pharmacist Manager demonstrates leadership in pharmacy practice, through assurance and advocacy for patient and associate safety, oversight of assigned pharmacy and the associates supporting, compliance with regulatory bodies, collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues, and demonstration of performance using measures of quality. In representation of one’s self and the organization, the Pharmacist Manager leverages techniques and skills identified as the UC Health Leadership Competencies to support the department and organization’s mission, vision and values.

The Manager, Pharmacy Residency Programs and Professional Development is responsible for supporting the administrative aspects of all UC Health pharmacy residency programs. The Manager will work closely with residency program directors and pharmacy department leadership to support pharmacy residents, preceptor development, recruitment, shared program administrative activities, regulatory and accreditation adherence, and program advancements.
