The Indirect Procurement Manager is responsible for Formica NA direct and indirect procurement activities. The position is located in the Formica NA business HQ in Cincinnati, OH.Responsibilities include Global Category leader for a key commodity material and oversight of all Formica NA indirect procurement activities.

The position reports to the Director of Procurement

Responsibilities:

- - Manage commercial relationship for selected key indirect material and service suppliers on behalf of Formica NA and other Formica regional business units (Asia, Europe, Australia). Negotiate annual requirements and commercial terms.

``` - - Manage relationships with existing suppliers and identify new supplier opportunities, including supplier base risk management.

``` - - Track material cost drivers and maintain commodity cost models

``` - - Identify & pursue cost reduction opportunities

``` - - Identify/coordinate/advise on cost savings opportunities.

``` - - Work with local manufacturing, facilities, maintenance and business operations on supplier innovation and new services sourcing.

``` - - Assist with services spend forecasting and

``` - - Work closely with business stakeholders to manage indirect purchase activities: vendor selection, negotiations, commercial terms, etc.for key categories including MRO, packaging supplies, marketing collateral, facility management, leased equipment, etc.

``` - - Work with all business stakeholders on supplier performance, score carding, KPIs.

``` - - Monitor material cost reduction targets by commodity.

``` - - Work with regional marketing team on product launches, sampling requirements.

``` - - Develop and manage Purchased Finished Goods process; includes planning, ordering and supplier management.

Requirements:

- - Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management or engineering preferred. MBA or equivalent experience preferred.

``` - - 5+ years of supply chain and/or operations experience.

``` - - 3+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, and/or category management experience.

``` - - In-depth functional knowledge of modern strategic sourcing/procurement methodologies and tools.

``` - - Proven ability to deliver results, build relationships both internal and external and communicate well with all organizational levels.
