Required: * Proven experience in retail, hospitality, or fueling station management, preferably in a leadership role * Strong leadership & people management skills * Excellent communication & interpersonal skills * Proficient in financial analysis & budget management * Understanding of safety, environmental, & regulatory requirements in the fueling industry * Flexibility to work in shifts & handle operational needs as required * Indian & Tribal Preference will apply in accordance with the Klamath Tribal policy, priority in selection will be given to applicants who submit tribal affiliation documentation with their application Preferred: * Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field Overview: Seeking an experience & dedicated Director of Travel Center Operations to oversee operations, which consists of a vehicle fueling station, mini-mart, fast-food operation, trucks stop fuel stations, & related amenities. The ideal candidate will possess strong team leadership skills, a background in retail or hospitality management, & a keep understanding of the fueling industry. Duties Include: Operational Oversight * Manage day-to-day operations of the fueling station, mini-mark, & truck stop facilities * Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, & regulatory standards * Supervise fuel inventory, ordering, & pricing strategies * Interviews, hires & supervises all staff * Coordinates training in an effort to maximize employee productivity & overall employee job satisfaction * Ensure all state reporting is performed in a timely manner Team Leadership * Recruit, train, & manage a diverse team of employees * Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, & exceptional customer service * Set performance goals & conduct regular evaluations to ensure high standards are met Customer Service Excellence * Uphold a customer-centric approach, ensuring exceptional service at all touchpoints * Address customer inquiries, complaints, & feedback promptly & professionally * Implement strategies to enhance customer experience & loyalty Facility Maintenance * Oversee maintenance & cleanliness of the grounds fueling station, mini-mark, & amenities * Coordinate repairs & upgrades, ensures a safe & inviting environment for customers & staff Financial Management * Develop & manage budgets, including revenue forecasting & cost control measures * Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for revenue growth & expense reduction * Monitor sales trends, evaluating pricing strategies, & implement promotional campaigns * Assist with any required audits & coordinate with CFO & /or Lead Accountant to maintain proper books * Strengthen policies for cash handling & related retail operations Vendor Relations & Inventory Management * Cultivate relationships with suppliers & vendors to optimize product offerings & pricing * Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, & negotiate favorable terms
