JPMorgan Chase Project Manager II - Controls Programs in Chicago, Illinois

As a Project Manager II- Controls Programs in the Commercial Bank within User Tools and Solutions, you will support the Controls Programs Lead with governance and oversight of the Citizen Developed Tools (User Tools and Intelligent Solutions) programs in Commercial Banking (CB) to enhance existing processes and maintain the risk and control framework owned by the Firmwide Program Team. You will have the opportunity to utilize and refine your skills in attention to detail, superior organizational and presentations. You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of your work and interact with all levels in the organization.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and manage governance deliverables for the User Tools and Intelligent Solutions programs

  • Monitor reporting metrics and work with global and local stakeholders on status of metrics requiring escalation or resolution

  • Partner with line of business counterparts to collectively drive strategic direction of program objectives firm wide across the broader organization

  • Act as a champion and primary point of contact for global and local stakeholders across all business as it relates to the Citizens Develop Tools framework, policies, and procedures

  • Function as an escalation point to keep all stakeholder parties aware of changes in scope, issues, and risks

  • Represent CB in various firm wide program forums and support continuous improvement projects in collaboration with stakeholders and control functions

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Firm wide Team, and control functions

  • Assess changes across existing policies, standards, and processes to identify potential gaps or areas of improvement, and communicate and provide directives to program stakeholders

  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, prepare presentations, and report meeting minutes

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years practical experience in program or project management with a demonstrated ability to develop and manage multiple assignments simultaneously

  • Professional, self-motivated and ability to work and deliver high-quality results

  • Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet deadlines across multiple assignments

  • Independent with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to facilitate stakeholder meetings and interact with all levels in the organization

  • Proficient in MS Excel and Power Point

  • A self-starter mentality with the confidence to drive issues through to completion

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Controls experience in Banking
