Job Summary

As a Sales Desk Manager for our Independent Broker Dealer (IBD) Channel, you will lead our team of Internal Client Advisors (ICAs) We are looking for a strategic, consultative, sales-minded individual with a true passion for developing talented individuals. As an Sales Desk Manager, you will hire, train, and lead teams of Internal Client Advisors (internal wholesalers) in the Independent Broker Dealer (IBD) channel. The role can be located in either Columbus or Chicago. You will coach your ICAs on various aspects of the role to help them successfully achieve their territory goals. You will be instrumental in helping to develop, guide and execute the strategic direction of the Independent Broker Dealer by working collaboratively with various business partners.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Internal Client Advisors (ICAs) by coaching them to build successful long-term relationships with the financial advisors in their respective territories

  • Ensure your team is delivering the full JP Morgan client experience by leveraging various business partners including ETF Specialists, Defined Contribution Specialists, Models Specialists and Portfolio Insights Specialists among others

  • Mentor your ICAs on how to best partner with their Client Advisors (CAs)

  • Work closely with the Sales Management Team to develop and execute strategic initiatives with our clients

  • Drive continued adoption of innovative technological tools that enhance your team's ability to have meaningful client conversations

  • Act as a liaison to national sales management, Global Strategic Relationships, Marketing, Product Strategy and Business Intelligence by communicating information that will optimize our overall business model

  • Have fun! This is a role for someone who enjoys coaching, mentoring and developing an amazing group of talented individuals

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Minimum of 4+ yeasrs of relevant sales or management experience in the financial industry

  • Ability to develop a team through leadership, mentorship, expert coaching and sales acumen

  • Deep understanding of and ability to teach capital markets and consultative sales

  • Series 24, 7 and 63 required

  • Bachelor's degree required
