The University of Chicago\'s Department of Pediatrics, Section of Allergy, Immunology and Pediatric Pulmonology seeks full-time faculty members at any rank. The appointees will focus on clinical activity of both children and adults in ambulatory settings including the University of Chicago located in Hyde Park and offsite ambulatory locations. Appointees will be collaborative physician leaders positioned to succeed in a busy, dynamic environment and advance the clinical, educational, and scholarly goals of the Section of Allergy, Immunology and Pediatric Pulmonology. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students. We especially welcome applicants with a clinical and research interest in the field of Asthma. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.

UChicago Medicine is an 811-bed facility with state-of-the-art technology and amenities that offers world-class medical care to adults and children from around the Chicagoland area and across the globe. The University of Chicago\'s Department of Pediatrics has recently formed the Advocate NorthShore Pediatric Partnership. Together, this partnership cares for approximately one million children across three states. The Food Allergy program at the University of Chicago leads a robust portfolio of basic and clinical/translational research benefiting both children and adults. Appointees will take a prominent role in the translational research program.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) be certified or eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) have completed an ACGME-accredited Allergy/Immunology training program and be Board certified or Board eligible in Allergy/Immunology.
