A BRIEF OVERVIEW Orchid is seeking a Vice President of Operations for our Machining Division to drive performance and culture across multiple sites and maintain our position as an industry leader in medical device manufacturing. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally to strategically align operations with demand, drive new business development, and cultivate a continuous improvement mindset.

To be successful in this position you must have a history of leading manufacturing operations, a keen market awareness, a desire to develop others, and strong financial acumen.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Operational Excellence and KPI Ownership: Own and drive operational performance and KPIs across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Oversee the tactical implementation of Orchid's operational strategic plan, focusing on measurable outcomes. Cross-Site Best Practices and Efficiency Improvement: Identify and leverage best practices across sites to enhance productivity and drive cost efficiencies. Build, manage, and propose operational changes based on data analysis, fostering continuous improvement. Safety, Compliance, and Culture Development: Partner with HR, Quality, and Environmental Health & Safety to establish and nurture a culture of safety, engagement, and compliance. Drive the deployment, execution, and maturity of a continuous improvement strategy. Strategic Collaboration and Market Awareness: Collaborate with Commercial and New Product Introduction teams to align short and long-term demand with operational capabilities. Lead new business development initiatives, maintaining awareness of competitors, customer satisfaction, and market opportunities. Leadership Development and Capital Project Management: Ensure the leadership development of site leaders to foster a high-performance culture. Review overall budgets, schedule performance standards, and drive adherence to budgetary requirements. Identify, prioritize, and manage key capital projects, including future facilities/sites.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor (Required) Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS 10+ Years of experience in a regulated environment (Required) 7+ Years of Project Management Experience (Preferred) 5+ Years of experience leading a team of 5+ people (Required) Experience Implementing Business or Functional Strategies with Demonstrated Business Acumen and World Class Change Management Skills (Required) Experience in leading and driving a culture of engagement and continuous improvement (Preferred) Experience deploying lean manufacturing to optimize productivity and cost (Required) Experience leveraging business intelligence to gain operational insight (Preferred) Experience in talent development (Required)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 30% Occasional travel to locations is required.
