Job Summary:

Excellent opportunity for a part-time PM&R physician to join the inpatient rehab unit for Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be board eligible or board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation

• Board eligible candidates still in training must be scheduled for their boards

• Tennessee licensure or ability to obtain

About the Rehab Unit:

The 12 bed unit treats patients (age 18 or older) with a range of conditions, including:

• Stroke

• Post-operative cardiac conditions

• Cancer

• Orthopedic injuries

• Amputations

• Brain injury

• Neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s

Opportunity:

• One month on one month off schedule

• Private practice

• 3 to 5 days a week, 6 to 8 hours a day- flexible

• Phone call only

• Supportive and collaborative team-based approach

• 24/7 tele-neurology support for acute stroke and other neurologic emergencies
