University of Virginia Emergency Services Instructor in Charlottesville, Virginia

Responsible for providing instruction in educational programs within Emergency Services.

  • This position is primarily a Basic Life Support (CPR) instructor.

  • Career progression can include instructor certification in many advanced courses and/or Emergency Medical Technician i

  • Provides course instruction and responds effectively and efficiently to the educational needs of the population being served.

  • Interfaces effectively with peers and customers and assumes responsibility for continuous professional development.

  • In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $54,558.40 - $87,297.60 Annual

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required. Experience: 1 year experience preferred. Licensure: None required. Instructor Status: Current and in good standing for disciplines taught

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling and bending/stooping and reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
