We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Project Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Join our collaborative Program team in the Charlotte, NC area working on projects that will enhance the lives of K-12 students!

As a member of our team, you’ll lead building and infrastructure projects consisting of multi-discipline teams of employees in design, including Architectural, MEP, Structural, and Civil. You’ll play an integral role in mentoring staff, forming long-term relationships with clients, and pursuing new work, including strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects and adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in construction or related fields and at least 2 years as project manager

  • Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology, team building, and client relationship building

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities

  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and to win work

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Prior experience with K-12 buildings construction

  • Master degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification
