Wells Fargo Lead IAM Policy Governance Analyst in CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

This role will report directly to the IAM Governance Senior Manager and will be responsible for a variety of policy, governance, and risk management activities.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide advanced information security consultation for all aspects of IAM policy, risk management, and remediation

  • Direct IAM risk assessment and research, and recommend remediation plans and strategies

  • Influence stakeholders on net new or material IAM policy changes

  • Provide consulting on policy gap analysis and research, and recommend remediation plans and strategies

  • Act as more experienced lead to the organization to develop security risk awareness and mitigating actions

  • Consult the organization on complex IAM issues and findings

  • Manage the most complex and critical information assets

  • Evaluate and interpret internal and companywide information security policies, processes, standards, and participate with more experienced leaders in decision making on information security

  • Advise on the development and delivery of policy content for Information Security Education and Awareness

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Lead special IAM ad hoc projects as required

  • Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 5+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience

  • 3+ years of policy experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Foundational understanding of IAM tools and processes

  • Experience with issue management, risk assessments and risk management reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience; verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage numerous, competing demands from internal and external stakeholders

  • Ownership mentality with an ability to design and drive successful execution of priorities.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint) skills.

  • Ability to work at one of approved locations in the job posting (hybrid).

  • Travel up to 10% of the time.
