• Write clean, concise, readable, state-of-the-art code that follows common design patterns while adhering to the best engineering practices.

• Strive to constantly improve the quality of engineering through code reviews, tech talks, pair programming, and other collaborative practices.

• Understand business needs and design quality software solutions that work well with the current architecture.

• Work with others on pushing technical boundaries and contribute to new processes and technologies.

• Ensure quality and confidence in software by writing effective automated unit tests.

• May work remotely.

• Must be willing to travel domestically up to 5% of the time.

• Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher, or foreign equivalent, in Computational Information Systems, Information Technology, Web Application Development, or a related field, and at least 7 years of experience in the job offered or at least 7 years of experience in software development.

• Stated experience must include at least 6 years of experience in the following: JavaScript and relevant JavaScript design patterns; Angular or React framework; Typescript; at least one relational and one non-relational database, including table design, queries, or primary keys; and stored procedures.

• Stated experience must also include at least 3 years of experience in the following: Avid Media Central Interplay WebService with SOAP and WSDL, Avid Media Central UX and Interplay UX, including the SWoDL scripting language; Avid Media Central Cloud UX; designing and implementing two or more AWS or Azure Cloud services; and designing, developing, testing, building, deploying, and handling issues in a production environment.

  We are offering a salary range of $152,069 per year to $162,000 per year, depending upon qualifications.
