The Department of Transportation is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Repairman 2 in Cumberland County. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of skilled trades tasks related to concrete work and stone masonry on a specialized bridge maintenance crew. You will be involved in measuring, cutting, and erecting concrete forms, as well as building wooden structures and repairing carpentry items. In addition, you will handle mixing and placing concrete, ensuring proper finishing and curing, and perform tasks related to stone structures. In the absence of the foreman, you may take on leadership responsibilities. Additionally, you may operate construction equipment and perform manual labor using various tools.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities. Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
