- - The Prevention Initiative Assistant Teacher position is a non-tenure-track, term, faculty appointment. This is a full-time position with reappointment based on the needs of the program, availability of funding, and the employees performance.

{=html} <!-- --> - The Prevention Initiative Assistant Teacher works in partnership with the Lead Teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers using the Illinois Early Learning Guidelines and Creative Curriculum model, while providing a safe, nurturing learning environment to support each childs overall development. Families are supported through daily parent-teacher interactions, Parents as Teachers resources, and personal visits conducted throughout the school year.
