As a Vocational Support Specialist, you'll provide on/off site training and support for clients during skill development, career planning, and employment retention. Our ideal candidate is passionate about vocational rehabilitation, has experience supporting individuals with disabilities, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide on/off site training and support for clients during skill development, career planning, and employment retention
Conduct instructional activities related to soft, work, and independent living skills
Locate competitive job sites in the community, contact employers, and conduct job site analyses
Complete necessary reports and paperwork, as assigned
Develop and maintain knowledge of disabilities and potential assistive technology/accommodations
Compile and review client information to assist with skill development, career planning, and employment retention
Contribute to and/or develop individualized service plans with clients
Conduct activities identified within clients' individualized service plans
Transport clients to carry out goals and objectives
Monitor and report on progress toward individualized service plan goals
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent certificate required; associate's or bachelor's degree in an applicable field preferred
Experience in rehabilitation, employment services, case management, social services or other applicable experience preferred
Additional Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills
Skilled computer knowledge (Word, Excel, internet platforms, other electronic media)
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of supporting individuals with disabilities and/or barriers to employment, education, and/or independent living
