Details & Responsibilities

• Duties:

• This position provides mental health care to a population with mental illness, intellectual and developmental disabilities and high risk for suicide and self-injury.

• Develop Mental Health treatment plans to serve as the basis for treatment.

• Provide individual and group therapy. Perform routine mental health assessments and interviews to determine progress.

• Update diagnosis and psychiatric needs levels. Referrals to psychology for more complex psychological assessment.

• Provide information to psychiatry to include client history, previous diagnoses, and alternative treatment available.

  Required Qualifications

• Active/Unrestricted CO License (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)

• Provisional not accepted

• Master's Degree in a mental health related field such as Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.

• BLS/ACLS Certification

• **One year experience providing mental health services in an institutional setting is preferred.
