Direct Support Professional - JET Program

Salary: $16.75 - $17.84

Work Location: Canandaigua

Schedule: M - F Daytime Hours

Responsibilities

• Provides habilitation support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, generally on a small group or one-to-one basis in a variety of community settings.

• Provides training opportunities designed to enhance each person's self-sufficiency in the areas of employment, personal independence, community integration, and productivity.

  Requirements

• 18 years old

• HS Diploma or GED and one year of relevant experience of and an equivalent amount of education/and or experience preferred

• If driving is required, reliable means of transportation and safe driving record for 1 full year prior to hire date

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form
