Philips People Business Partner - DI NA in Cambridge, Massachusetts

People Business Partner Diagnostic Imaging, North America

As the strategic People Function leader for Diagnostic Imaging (DI) North America, you will partner with the leader and leadership team on a critical commercial region in one of Philips' most strategically important business segments. The DI Businesses (Businesses Units MR, CT/AMI and DXR) touch the lives of millions of people worldwide every year through meaningful innovations, maximizing performance and optimizing workflow for our customers. Partnering with the Leader of Diagnostic Imaging, North America, you will directly enable our commercial teams to ensure patients and customers are able to benefit from our innovations and solutions in MR, CT/AMI and DXR.

Your role:

  • Business and strategic acumen: You will develop and implement the People Strategy in support of the organization, using diagnostics skills, business acumen and customer relations to identify, articulate and deliver value propositions. You will partner with, consult with and influence leaders to ensure People Function interventions enable delivery of business unit regional targets,

  • Organizational development: You will coordinate capability development and strategic workforce planning, driving the people elements of transformation and change. You will lead and enable culture and change management interventions. You will drive organizational design and enable an effective operating model in support of the organization's needs,

  • Talent management: You will ensure a talent and leadership strategy in support of the organization’s needs. You will staff the organization for the future, with a strong emphasis on inclusion and diversity and strategic capabilities, determining and executing on performance management and retention strategies and interventions, Collaboration/ stakeholders: You will strongly collaborate with the leaders of DI North America, with Business Unit leaders in DI, with the PD People Function team, with regionally organized People Function teams, other People (business) partners and consult with the Centers of Excellence to meet the particular needs of the business. You will act as a steward of the People Function Operating Model.

  • Team: You will be a part of The DI North America Leadership Team and the Precision Diagnosis People Function Team. You will report to the Head of People for Health Systems Businesses and Precision Diagnosis. You will also be part of the People Function North America Leadership Team, with a dotted line to the Head of People for North America. As appropriate, you will also play a liaison role for other Health Systems Businesses in the region on the North America People Function LT)

You're the right fit if:

  • You have acquired a minimum of 8 years of strategic HR experience, working directly with senior leadership teams with recent experiences supporting large and complex multinational highly regulated organizations targeting different customer segments. Past non-HR operational experience is a plus.

  • You hold a bachelor's Degree; a master’s degree is a plus.

  • Your skills include strong track record in building a diverse workforce and bench strength for critical positions and in implementing industry leading capabilities, excellent consulting, relationship management, planning, project management and organizational skills, as well as ability to develop effective strategic relationships with key senior collaborators, build followership with local HR teams and partner with CoEs to deliver on global people strategies.
