Keurig Dr Pepper Sr. Manager, Chemical Management in Burlington, Massachusetts

This position will lead the development of responsible chemical management strategies for KDP, and coordinate the development and implementation of resulting programs, driving chemical compliance of KDP products and manufacturing operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Continuously monitor emerging regulations and customer chemical-of-concern requirements, develop a strategic and tactical roadmap for compliance and communication of new regulations and provide technical guidance to internal business partners regarding these new requirements and their impact specific to water, food/beverage products, packaging, and manufacturing operations.

  • Oversee the communication of chemical-related requirements to internal and external stakeholders, identifying compliance and financial impact, where applicable.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain robust chemical management programs and practices that reduce risk and deliver compliance to KDP. Actively lead the Chemical Working Group.

  • Maintain program documentation, including the Chemicals Management Policy. Ensure records are maintained as needed to demonstrate compliance. Support internal business partners in the creation of chemical program content in other public-facing documents.

  • Assist in responding to external inquiries regarding chemical management programs.

  • Work with manufacturing sites to ensure chemical-related practices, including waste streams, are compliant with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

  • Collaborate with Procurement and product/Package R&D to ensure new and existing COC requirements are incorporated into the product life cycle

  • Identify needs and develop budgetary requirements to support the Chemical Management program

  • Work closely with legal as the primary contact for project -related communications and coordination both to internal and external customers

OTHER NECESSARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Follow all policies, procedures and safety requirements directed by Keurig/Dr Pepper (KDP).

  • Travel requirements: 10 -20%
