$18/hr

We are seeking an Instructional Design Intern with outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. The Intern is expected to work closely with the Learning & Development team to develop learning that will be used to grow capability across the organization. Success in this role will be measured by the effective completion of assigned projects and the intern’s ability to show professional growth across the engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze learning need, assess required learning criteria, and provide flexible solutions that factor in time, quality, and cost.

• Using provided content, create outlines and storyboards for use in course creation.

• Collaborate with internal business users and subject matter experts to accurately develop visual design concepts including graphics and system demonstrations.

• Assemble provided content into online learning using various inputs including graphics, video, audio, and text.

• Assist in creating requested knowledge checkpoints to assess course learning effectiveness.

• Learn and apply the necessary functions associated with an instructional design role within the organization’s LMS.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts, and/or L&D team members to ensure content created is accurate and satisfies the goals of the project.

• Apply current usability and user-centered design best practices when creating eLearning and similar materials to develop relevant and applicable training

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in instructional design, education, educational technology, or related field of study.

• Willingness to learn the current set of tools used in course creation (Camtasia, Movavi, or similar).

• Proficiency in MS Office Word and PowerPoint.

• Ability to work effectively with individuals and teams.

• Self-motivated with a desire to produce quality work.

• Top notch problem-solving skills.

• Strong levels of organization and communication skills.

• Well versed in proper spelling and grammar.
