Job Description:

Assesses and treats human responses to actual and potential health problems through such services as case finding, health teaching, health counseling and provision of care supportive or restorative of life and well-being. Executes medical regimens prescribed by a licensed physician, dentist or other licensed health care provider legally authorized under the NYS Education Department and in accordance with NYS Department of Health regulations. Adheres to current Kaleida policies and standards of practice.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

Current NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse/RN Permit required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter. American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of Hire and must be maintained thereafter. RN Critical Care – OCH Only – American Heart Association ACLS and American Academy of Pediatric or American Heart Association PALS. PALS required within six (6) months of hire/transfer into the Emergency Department and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). ACLS and PALS must be maintained thereafter. Existing OCH must acquire certification as part of the training and orientation to OCH. RN Critical Care – All Emergency Departments – require 1 year of Acute Care Experience.

Salary Range:

$38.54-$53.86 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
