Highbridge Educational Director in Bronx, New York

Formulates and designs procedures to determine if program objectives are being met. Develops in-service training program for parents, providers, and relevant staff, Determines formats and approaches to achieve program objectives; defines needs of target populations; researches trends at the community and local level, as appropriate to the position. Writes, edits, and coordinates the development of course promotional materials, educational materials, training manuals, newsletters, and/or brochures, as appropriate to the program. Develops and maintains records and databases on student and program activities, materials, equipment, and supplies. Execute on all aspects of personnel management, including but not limited to, recruitment, hiring, supervising, work planning, evaluating, and discipline. Plan and implement staff orientation and staff meetings. Serve as a mentor to teachers and staff, and actively facilitate professional development, by creating opportunities for staff to learn in formal and informal settings. Professional development opportunities should be in accordance with New York State Department of Education standards as well as the professional interests and goals of each individual staff member. Ensure staff is informed, involved, and integrated in the development and implementation of program outcomes and objectives, as well as individual goals and objectives. ยท Provide positive influence in strengthening and developing an effective team, by inspiring and fostering camaraderie and teamwork.

Minimum Salary: 75,000 Maximum Salary: 90,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
