YOUR ROLE

  • Define & implement regional agenda: Adapt and shape of global sustainability strategy for the North America region and drive regional implementation.

  • Build regional network: Build regional network and multipliers to accelerate implementation of sustainability initiatives in the region.

  • Drive regional upskilling: Translate global concepts into regional perspective and lift expertise in the areas of climate, circularity, and chemical safety by building training series around region specific regulations and requirements.

  • Build reputation: Accelerate internal communication through townhalls, digital communication channels, and expert networks and drive external communication through engagement in events, conferences, associations and speaking opportunities.

  • Create impact for business: Unlock differentiation with sustainable solutions by identifying partnership programs.

  • Define and deliver regional specific outputs including narratives for customers to clearly communicate the value and impact of Henkel’s solutions.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master in Sustainability Management, Business, Chemistry, or related fields

  • 10+ years total experience in Chemical or related industries, with 3+ years in a Sustainability role and experience working in associations and/or with Public Affairs.

  • Solid understanding of sustainability regulation in North America and sustainability concepts including circular economy principles, recycling and sustainable materials, and CO2 emission accounting principles.

  • Passion for sustainability topics.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external networks, to promote transparency and accountability.

  • Excellent communication skills to build trust and support decision-making.

  • Strong strategic thinking with an analytical approach to problem solving.

  • Strong project management skills from ideation and planning to implementation.

The salary for this role is $130,000.00 - $ 175,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future
