YOUR ROLE

  • Manages market/customer lab work request process including initiating, executing and assigning projects ensuring work is completed in-full and timely.

  • Coordinates our Quality Complaint Process working cross-functionally to determine root cause and implement sustainable corrective actions.

  • Critical in understanding customer needs and validating product/solution performance by replicating customers’ applications in our technical center.

  • Demonstrates appropriate project management skills and use of DMAIC/Lean methodology in execution of projects and support of the team. This will include market, customer, and/or digitization projects. Collaborates with Sales, Key Account Managers, Business Development, Product Development, Regulatory, Operations, Quality Control and other functions.

  • Leads site lab safety and 5S initiatives for work area • Interprets laboratory results, presents conclusions, recommends next experimental steps or products in laboratory reports for direct customer correspondence

  • Understands lab procedures presented in technical journals and ASTM / TAPPI standard procedures; can adapt or create new procedures to meet project requirements.

  • Sets up and operates standard lab equipment of moderate-high complexity.

  • Coordinates customer technical visits for tours, training, workshops in our technical center.

  • Participate in customer and Henkel plant visits as necessary; Travel in US, approximately <10%.

YOUR SKILLS

  • BS ChE, MatSE, Chemistry or similar relevant degree/experience required. 8+ years experience.

  • Demonstrated success in managing projects.

  • Ability to multi-task with strong analytical, troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

  • Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Lean/Six Sigma a plus.

  • Excellent computer skills.

The salary for this role is $79,800.00 - $112,800.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
