Brian Head Town DEPUTY TOWN CLERK/TREASURER in BRIAN HEAD, Utah

Brian Head Town seeks qualified applicants to serve as the Deputy Town Clerk/Treasurer. This unique opportunity provides unmatched quality of life in a relaxed mountain town atmosphere while still offering varied and interesting work content and competitive pay.

Under the direction of the Town Manager, the Deputy Town Clerk/Treasurer assists the Town Clerk and Town Treasurer in various municipal duties. These duties include:

• Preparing, maintaining and archiving of town documents, minutes,

ordinances and resolutions of the Town Council

• Assisting the public with various services, including business licensing

and special event permits

• Preparing agendas for planning commission meetings, and takes,

distributes and publishes minutes of meetings

• Performs regular accounts payable duties

• Assists in payroll functions, and reconciles bank statements

• Assists with building and planning activities, including scheduling for

inspections

• Issues, accepts and notarizes subdivision plats and other documents

• Updates the Town website and social media with information

pertinent to the public

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from college with an associate's degree and two to three (2-3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
