System One Field Test Engineer Rail in Braintree, Massachusetts

    As a Field Test Engineer, you will oversee all on site test related activities within our organization for specific projects. You will be responsible and perform all system field tests for all pilot cars, you will supervise the post-installation tests of each individual delivery performed by the installer and you will perform all routine acceptance tests of each individual delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in managing customer relations.     Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project meetings with customers and the technical department

  • Serve as contact person for testing activities on side

  • Interface between the external sites, customers and technical department

  • Perform all system field tests for pilot cars

  • Supervise post-installation tests of each delivered equipment which are performed by the installer

  • Perform the routine acceptance tests of each delivered equipment

  • Coordinate any test activities on side

  • On-site readiness within 48 hours to coordinate action

    Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Engineering or a related field

  • Experience in Field Testing required

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a testing role, preferably within the Industry

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team (international teams is a plus)

  • Experience with ERP systems preferred

  • Residence in greater Boston required
