The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders within the College of Health and Human Services at Western Kentucky University seeks a full-time tenure-track eligible faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor. The following are duties for this position but are not to be construed as all-inclusive. Duties may be added, deleted, and assigned based on management discretion and institutional needs.

Teaching: Primary teaching responsibilities for this position include graduate and undergraduate courses that may be offered on campus or online. The candidate may be expected to teach CSD courses including but not limited to cognitive, acquired neurological communication, motor speech, fluency, and dysphagia.

Scholarship: Maintain an active role in research and scholarly production including publishing in peer-reviewed journals and securing research funding. Maintain awareness of current research trends and topics associated with speech-language pathology.

Service: Actively participate in university service (departmental, college, and university committees) and professional service.

Job Requirements:

• Ph.D or Ed.D(or ABD) in speech-language pathology or a related area

• CCC-SLP
