This critical role ensures necessary security mechanisms are built into all IT infrastructure and business applications. Includes management of global security incident response. Maintains comprehensive information security program and operations.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and oversee the activities of the Information Security Operations team, providing guidance and support for team’s growth & development. Manage the department resources ensuring they are allocated efficiently and in alignment with the organizational goals.

  • Develop and implement strategies, policies, standards, and procedures to ensure delivery of Information Security controls and processes; Maintain alignment with broader Information Security and IT Operations teams within Cytiva and Danaher.

  • Develop and maintain documentation to all security operations functions and managed Information security tools. Manage and maintain service level agreement timelines to Security Operations and Engineering tickets

  • Manage Information Security Operations and Engineering programs, including endpoint management, anti-malware, remote-access, DLP, logging and analysis, and firewall change reviews, security awareness training, ensuring successful program execution and sustainment of appropriate control environment.

  • Lead incident response program for global team of responders. Inform leadership of emerging threats and escalate critical events when necessary.

  • Inspect and assess gaps in coverage and protection with Information security tools and processes against emerging threats and industry best practices. Develop and deliver stakeholder communications regarding shared responsibilities pertinent to Information Security controls, processes, and procedures.

  • Keep track of industry trends, regulatory landscape, and emerging technologies, assess their impact on Information Security, and make appropriate recommendations to the leadership team

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s in IT or a related field or Master’s in IT or a related field

  • 10 + years of experience in an Information Security, Network Engineering, or IT Architecture function; with at least 2 years experience for a global organization. with 5+ years of People Leadership experience

  • Expert knowledge of at least three of the following: Computer Forensics, Endpoint Security Management, Vulnerability Management, Remote-Access, Zero Trust, Data Classification/Data Loss Prevention, SIEM management, Security Incident Event Management, Network Security, Penetration Testing, Red/Blue/Purple Team, or Software Development Life Cycle.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate at all levels including executives and key business stakeholders.

  • CISSP, CEH, CCSP, OCSP, or CISM certification

It would be a plus if you possess previous experience in:

  • Ethical Hacking, Cloud Security Engineering , or Security Operations Center Leadership

The salary range for this role is $145,000 to $180,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
