Key responsibilities

• Provide assistance for several attorneys

• Utilize organizational skills to effectively and efficiently assist attorneys in the resolution of files

• Update calendars and billing sheets and provide improvements when necessary

• Convey legal correspondence to clients

• Communicate effectively and efficiently over the phone with clients

• Ensure office efficiency by handling assigned files and delivering legal services under attorney supervision

• Organize client interaction

• Perform administrative tasks as necessary

• Apply extensive knowledge of legal procedures Requirements

• Microsoft Excel experience desired

• Expertise in database management

• Thorough understanding of word processing and spreadsheets highly valued

• Meticulous understanding and comprehension of local jurisdictional and federal court rules and procedures

-1+ years of prior relevant experience

• Exceptional time management skills preferred

• Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well

• Prior experience with legal correspondence and court filing is a plus
